Today was dialysis day.  Joe got physically ill today when they took him too far below his dry weight.  After I put him in the car, I went back inside to ask th staff how much more fluid do they expect to take off.  He's lost so much weight that his clothes and shoes don't fit him anymore.  And, it's like the life has been sucked out of him.  I told the technician briefly what has been going on with him in the last few days, i.e., falls, loss of memory, etc.  He said he'd tell Joe's nephrologist when he saw him.  A short time later I got a phone call saying that Joe was going to be scheduled for an echocardiogram with his cardiologist shortly.

His blood sugar was perfect this morning - 118 and he slept all night long.
